Cantilever rail bridge

When completed, it was the longest span in the world.  Today it is the second longest of its kind. From the little towns at both ends, the bridge looks incredibly massive. Some structural members of the bridge are as large as 12 feet in diameter. This is the most monumental cantilever-truss structure ever built.
